According to the recent research, biosphere destructive effects and climate changes caused by worldwide uncontrolled growth and development in exploitation of natural environment, as a result, it is essential to limit or restrict the use of non-renewable natural resources such as soil, wind, sun and so on. The idea of reducing the destruction is necessary in sustainable architecture. Construction as the major indicator of development is to achieve the objectives of sustainable development, additionally education as the basis of architectural designing have to be associated with sustainable principles. In the field of architectural design as the basis of construction activities, sustainable architecture principals are introduced and classified, which after that the affect of sustainable thinking on the process of architectural design is analyzed. Altogether, it would be utterly beneficial if we considered sustainability in educational proposes. In order to recognize the different aspects of sustainable architecture education in the research, some university programs in this regard are comparatively analyzed. By educating the architects, they will be able to apply the process of design for sustainable architecture. Finally, sustainable thinking can be well recognized in the whole layers and steps of architectural design process.
